I had never been to the Urban Lounge, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Wouldn’t mind going back for a cocktail if I spend the night in the city again. Overall, a good experience with the cocktails, a not so good on the ambiance. Well balanced and refreshing (picture #2)įollowed by a bar creation under the directions of Roulette as it seemed as the most mysterious item on their menu (picture #1) which was also gin based and had a spectacular flavor that brought memories of eating red grapefruit in the Caribbean. I started with a gin based cocktail called Moon River. Music was down, bartender were not chatty and even if going in early, I had a purpose… of enjoying all the things people talked about and have a great cocktail. As a flight attendant, we must take full advantage of our time when visiting cities and often we get to do this things on our own if not accompanied by anyone else from our crew, but going there was the opposite of fun.
After reading all the fun comments about this place I immediately rushed there as soon as they opened at 18:00. Centric and accessible so it was a must for me during a night layover. Definitely a great cocktail bar when stopping by in Salt Lake City.
